   Chef Tanaka, owner of "Shikisai Tanaka," a restaurant frequented by some of Japan's biggest artists, was attracted by the charms of Suo Oshima and moved to the island. In addition to fish he caught himself as an active fisherman, he offers dishes using a variety of seasonal ingredients from Suo Oshima, which he purchases directly from local farmers and fishermen.
